We are working with Crossroads Community, Inc. in Cambridge on a Dorchester County mural featuring the Choptank Lighthouse which once stood at the mouth of the Tred Avon River.

 

The painting will also contain a Hooper Island draketail loaded with crabs,

a US Army Crash Boat (a bunch were built at Cambridge), a buy boat loaded with oysters, the pungy Lady Maryland, the Pride of Baltimore,

a fleet of skipjacks and some log canoes along with a Chesapeake flattie,

a pair of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers,

and a couple of watermen tonging oysters off a dovetail.

Just another day on the Bay!
