The children at HH Garnet Elementary School worked with our lead instructor on a 4’ x 8’ mural featuring many of the endangered insect pollinators of the region. The kids painted a variety of bee species along with native butterflies and beetles as they learned about the connection between insects and the foods & wild flowers grown in the area. This integrated arts education workshop series was funded by the Maryland State Department of Education’s Community School Program.
